About

After a few years working in the music business I started working as a computer programmer with IBM minicomputers in 1983.  As PCs and networks became more available as a more flexible and less costly platform I became more involved with PC programming and network architecture.

I have worked for many large corporate companies and both an independent consultant and a direct employee.  I retired from my role as a Lead Software Specialist at American Express early in 2006.

My main specialties are MS Windows issues, Image processing, Video editing and conversion, and developing small web sites.

If I can't resolve an issue there is no charge other than any travel costs

If I don't know the answer I say so!

I don't supply hardware or software (other than anything I develop for the client)

I don't operate outside of Sussex, UK (well not usually!)
